Lucrative Opportunity for Kitchen Retailers

Only available in the UK through LDL is the brand new WESCO range of household accessories for kitchens and bathrooms. In a dazzling array of vibrant colours, this new range will allow retailers to take advantage of lucrative 'add-on' sales. As Matthew Lord, LDL's managing director, explains "Almost everyone invests in new accessories to add that finishing touch to their new kitchen or bathroom, so it makes sense for retailers to have an attractive range on display. Not only can customers take advantage of this convenient, one-stop shopping, we can deliver the items directly to their home the following day, thus avoiding stocking and delivery issues for the retailers."
The WESCO rage comprises key accessories such as free-standing kitchen and bathroom bins, bread bins, storage canisters, paper-roll holders and other designer and retro items. All items are available in an exciting choice of 11 colours although Matthew Lord predicts that black, almond and red will be the best-sellers, along with fashion colours such as Lime Green and Lemon Yellow.
Continuing the kitchen accessory theme, LDL is also delighted to introduce kMix from Kenwood. Developed for LDL to sell exclusively to kitchen retailers, the kMix range includes a stand mixer, blender, coffee maker, hand mixer, jug kettle and toaster in a range of stunning block colours, plus the dazzling 'Firecracker' striped design which co-ordinates with all the other colours in the range.
Also exclusive to LDL is the new Libell range from PEKA. This brand new storage concept combines the superior PEKA mechanism with stylish drawer and door interior solutions formed from a single piece of sheet metal, creating an integrated unit and ensuring that storage space is maximised. Designed to co-ordinate with Tandembox grey or Tandembox Intivo, the new Libell range is available in grey or white.
LDL has also rationalised and extended its Linea lighting range for 2012.
This comprehensive range, available exclusively from LDL, comprises a unique selection of the latest lighting innovations along with trusted favourites. Designed to offer creative lighting solutions for every room and every mood, the range features the latest developments in LED technology, including flexible strips and extrusions. To simplify the product offering for customers, the Linea range is now presented both by lighting type and also by room so that the features and benefits of each type can be fully understood and the appropriate solution selected.
The exhibition also provides LDL with the perfect opportunity to introduce its brand new, interactive website to retailers. This easy to navigate site presents the entire LDL stock range of over 3,500 products in an accessible format, allowing customers to log-on to order online, view their order history, balance and other details. There is also an e-gallery so that images can be downloaded for use on retailers' own websites or in their promotional material. As mentioned earlier, one of the key features of the new site which will benefit retailers in particular is the ability to order items online for delivery direct to the customer's home address the following day.
During the exhibition, LDL is offering a variety of incentivised display packages, including WESCO kitchen and WESCO bathroom packs, a kMix pack, and promotional offers on the new Linea lighting range.
